Denise Sheehan is the Executive Director of The Climate Registry, a not-for-profit organization, which assists businesses and organizations in measuring, reporting and managing their carbon footprints. The Registry was created by US states and Canadian provinces to promote consistent standards for carbon footprint reporting across North America. In her role as Executive Director, Denise is responsible for providing the strategic direction for The Registry and oversees its program, services and staff. She acts as chief liaison with the state and provincial Board members, as well as between states and provinces and their respective federal governments. She also works with companies and organizations to increase awareness of climate policies that may impact their operations and how they can prepare for those policies.
