Cecil Corbin-Mark

WE ACT for Environmental Justice

Cecil Corbin-Mark serves as Deputy Director and Director of Policy Initiatives for WE ACT for Environmental Justice (WE ACT). In this role, he directs and coordinates WE ACT’s overall program work with a focus on developing and implementing legislative, educational, and political strategies to achieve the organization’s mission of building healthy communities. In 2008, Mr. Corbin-Mark lauched the Environmental Jusitce Leadership Forum on Climate Change (the Fourm), an initiative of WE ACT’s to resource EJ organizations across the country so that they gain a better understanding of the science, public health impacts and policy implications of climate change.

Prior to joining the staff at WE ACT, Mr. Corbin-Mark served on the staff of the Bronx County District Attorney, in the chambers of Justice William T. Martin, the Mellon Minority Scholars Program and the New York Public Library.
