Rajinder Sahota is a manager at the California Air Resources Board tasked with completing the rule making process for California’s cap-and-trade regulation and the development of the compliance offset program. Development of the compliance offset program includes evaluation of new offset project protocols, approval of third party registries, and implementing a system to report, verify, and issue compliance offset credits.

Previously, Rajinder was involved with the development of the state’s mandatory greenhouse gas reporting program and managed the implementation of the first regulatory third-party verification program in the country.
