Robert J. Hrubes is Senior Vice-President of Scientific Certification Systems (SCS), a California company specializing in third-party certification, verification and auditing services. Robert has lead responsibility for the company’s natural resource division including the GHG Verification Services Program.

Dr. Hrubes is a registered professional forester and resource economist with 30+ years of professional experience in both the private and public sectors. He holds degrees from UC-Berkeley, University of Michigan and Iowa State University. Dr. Hrubes is an internationally recognized expert in natural resources management and environmental certification with emphasis on responsible forest management, chain-of-custody, and forest carbon offsets.
