Frank Gorke is Assistant Secretary for Energy in the Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs and leads key energy and climate projects for Energy Undersecretary Phil Giudice and Secretary of Energy and Environmental Affairs Rick Sullivan. Until December 2010, he was Director of the Division of Energy Efficiency at the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources (DOER). In that role he was responsible for the Commonwealth’s energy efficiency policies and programs. His office also led efficiency-related ARRA investments and coordinated adoption of updated building energy codes. Prior to joining state government, Frank led efforts to adopt clean air, clean energy and climate laws and policies throughout New England. He initiated the successful campaign to adopt a statutory economy-wide carbon cap in Massachusetts.
